Flexible 11.2-channel sound for full immersion
Offering a fully immersive sound, this Denon allows you to set up four-ceiling or Atmos-enabled speakers as well as a full 7-channel surround sound. Alternatively, use two Atmos speakers and enjoy a wide soundscape with “wide front speakers” that form a 9.2.2 system. If you don’t like a specific Dolby Atmos system but want the most engaging sound possible, look for an 11.2 setting. This offers a 7.2 sound with the addition of front width and front height speakers.

If the 11-channel sound is not enough, why not extend to 13! Just add an additional stereo power amplifier and enjoy the additional immersion of 13-channel sound processing. Supported formats include Dolby Atmos, Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization Technology, DTS:X, DTS Virtual:X, DTS:X Pro, IMAX Enhanced, and Auro-3D. This wide range of options means that you can adapt the surround sound speaker system from the simpler system with “virtual height” speakers to 13.2 systems that really bring cinema home.

Ready for 8K
With 8K-compatible HDMI jacks, this Premium Denon AVC is ready for the next generation of TVs. The amplifier not only goes through 8K/60Hz signals, but also extends HDMI signals to the 8K standard, too, helping you get the most out of your 8K TV with 4K UHD media. If you haven’t made the jump to 8K TV yet, the sockets also handle signals up to 4K/120Hz, for maximum quality and expansion with 4K UHD.

Supports Dolby Vision, HDR10 and Dynamic HDR
In addition to supporting 8K, AVC-X6700H also supports a wide range of high dynamic range video formats. These include Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG. It also supports HDR10, which improves image realism by sending dynamic meta data to the TV and dynamic HDR. In short, whatever format the movie, game or broadcast uses, the Denon supports it.

The latest HDMI support also marks a big improvement in the game. 4K/120Hz and VRR (Refresh Rate variable) support maximizes resolution and clarity. Now it works with all voice assistants
The AVC-X6700 adds Siri and Google Assistant to Alexa, making it more widely compatible with voice assistants than before. For The Alexa or Google Assistant control, simply download the HEOS app. Pair your Echo device if you’re using Alexa and you’re ready to get started: adjust the volume, go to the next track and change your voices just by asking Alexa or Google. For Siri control, simply connect the amplifier via Apple AirPlay 2 and enjoy airPlay 2 voice interaction and multi-camera support.

The ADI Griffin Lite ADI Griffin DSPs provide the AVC-X6700H with immense processing power. Denon’s AL32 processing provides ultra-high resolution digital audio filters and precision adaptation of the main channels to provide accuracy and the most natural sound possible. Finally, 32-bit AKM DACs (digital to analog converter) provide this AV amplifier with detailed reference levels and high-resolution audio support.

Advanced multi-camera functionality and custom installation ready for installation
The AVC-X6700H has no less than three HDMI outputs with an independent zone 2. This means that you can perform audio and video on another screen, in another room regardless of the twin main outputs. With Audyssey’s high-end MultEQ XT32 technology, the AVC-X6700H adapts to the acoustics of your room. The XT32 version of this automated metering and configuration device includes Audyssey Dynamic Volume, Dynamic EQ, LFC, and SubEQ HT for full control.
