4K ILC mirrorless Camera Panasonic Lumix GX850 review

August 13, 2017 - Updated on February 5, 2018
in Reviews

The Lumix GX850 is a follower of Panasonic’s GF8 and GM5 cameras, offering an interchangeable lens structure in a really lightweight body. The tiny size is a pleasure, while the big screen on the back uses a very favorable level of accessible space, so there
was no feeling of compromise.

We used the compact 12-32mm lens (HFS12032), the amount of zoom is minimal, but for close ups to panoramas it was so very flexible. The GX850 enables a small amount of post-shot focusing, it’s a software package effect so can’t deliver heavy depth of field background places to the fore, but is still helpful. The touch screen focusing is outstanding, and contains a stacking mode where many focal points are mixed for precise focal transition.lumix gx850

But by far the greatest tip this camera offers is shooting in 4K. There’s even
a dedicated button for it, which is good, simply because it allows you to shoot your
desired resolution and change up when needed in an instant. Optionally, you can re-map the 4K button as a function button. There is a specific 4K burst mode,as well, which stores one second of photographs from before and right after the shutter is released. That amounts to 60 frames to select from.

The 16MP sensor and mirrorless format are a very good balance and all our shots were crystal clear and bright. It stabilized well too, We have a bad practice of moving just as
the shutter is pressed and our shots are notoriously terrible, but the GX850 categorized all
that out.

*Equipped with a touch screen, simply touch the area who want to be in focus. Or with Post Focus mode, change the focus point even after the shot is taken.*
This is definitely the ideal travel camera. Its size, weight and that fine big reversible touch screen (which supports numerous selfie settings,4K SELFIES) and foolproof shooting make it a superstar. Wi-Fi allows you upload on the move, also.Panasonic Lumix GX850 1
