EZViz C3X – Excellent Dual-Lens security Outdoor camera

EZViz C3X

The EZViz C3X is the 1st security digital camera that I have noticed to use a pair of lenses, offering full-colour night vision without the need for extra lights. It works remarkably, as well, with this camera capable of providing some of the best-quality video I have personally seen.
Setting up – Easy to mount, the camera has a very good degree of movements, so you can place it where you want it; practical, given that this unit does not have a very wide-angle field of viewpoint.
Detection general performance – Activity areas help you cut down on false positives, but there is a complicated variety of options and EZViz could simplify the procedure.
Image – level of quality – Outstanding image quality regards to the dual lenses, which take sharp, full-colour footage in both daylight and at night.
EZViz has offered a single mount for this security camera, which is attached directly into position through three screws. The ball joint provides a fair quantity of movement to point the digicam where you need it.
This unique camera is mains-powered, and there is a 6m extension cable in the package, providing a respectable level of overall flexibility. You can either run the power cable via the back of the mount, straight through a wall, or you can run the cable connection externally.EZViz C3X

As well as the power input, there is also an Ethernet port, which you can use if your Wi-Fi isn’t so very good in the area where the camera is positioned. If you’re going to run the Ethernet cable externally, you’ll have to use the weather proofing set included in the box.
On the underside of the camera is a screw-in panel that reveals the microSD card slot, which can you use if you’d rather possibly not pay for cloud storage space. Just be careful that if the camera is stolen, all of your video footage is will be lost.
Once the EZViz C3X security camera is set up, connecting to the application is very easy. You get all of the essentials you’d expect with a security and safety camera, including a live view to see what is going on, and decent two-way chat that allows you to communicate with anybody you can see.

The application has 2 buttons at the top, At-Home mode and Leaving-Home mode. The former turns on movement alerts; the latter turns them off – even though the C3X will keep on to record when it detects motion. Having a simple switch is nice, but it would be even much better if EZViz had some solution of displaying you what mode it was in.

With the default configuration settings, when the EZViz C3X is primed for motion warns, you not only get a message on your smartphone, but the camera as well plays a really loud siren. It definitely attracts attention, but in many urban installations this siren will be too irritating to leave on, so I recommend putting the camera into Silent mode
Motion-activated video footage is recorded to the camera’s microSD card or the cloud, and you get a thumbnail listing of events from which to select. Videos can be downloaded, even though they first go into the app’s album and then have to be stored to your smartphone, which looks like like an unnecessary extra step.EZViz C3X security camera
The EZViz C3X offers a 1080p sensor and two lenses. One captures the ambient brightness and the other captures colour, combining the two together to produce full-colour, in depth images in any sort of situation. My only minor criticism about the lenses is that they have just a 106-degree field of view, which is really low for an outdoor camera (nearly all are 140-degrees an upward). As such, you will need to position this product very carefully to capture what you really want.
At night time, the camera delivers very fine full-colour shots, with detail extending into the back of the frame. When movement is noticed, the EZViz C3X turns on its spot light (you can turn off this), which takes a little while for the camera to adjust, so you get a few frames with some segments of the image in black and white. When the image has stabilised, people are captured in razor-sharp details.security EZViz C3XThe application might be a little bit fiddly and absence the polish of its big-name rivals, but the EZViz C3X gets all of the essentials right and you can stay away from its pricey cloud storage space with the microSD card slot underneath. What’s really significant is image quality, and here the EZViz C3X does not let you down, using two lenses to capture sharp, precise footage during the day and full-colour images at night. If you’re searching for a well-priced security camera to cover a single area, this outdoor security camera is a excellent choice. EZViz C3X price: £129
Nevertheless, if you just want a single security camera to target on one area, with video quality the top priority, the EZViz C3X is a well-priced and really good option. And you can even reduce out the cost of cloud storage space completely by using a microSD card. Photo: EZViz
