Driver Power State Failure is a common error that can occur in Windows when a device driver is unable to respond to a request from the operating system. This can happen for a variety of reasons, including issues with the device driver itself, problems with the hardware it is trying to control, or conflicts with other drivers or software on your system.

To fix this error, you can try the following steps:

  1. Restart your computer and check if the error still occurs. This can sometimes resolve the issue, as it will give the device driver a chance to start fresh and avoid any conflicts that may have caused the error.
  2. Update the device driver that is causing the error. To do this, you can use the Device Manager in Windows. Open the Device Manager, find the device that is causing the error, right-click on it, and select “Update Driver” from the menu. This will start the update process, which may resolve the issue if the driver is outdated or corrupted.
  3. If updating the driver does not work, you can try uninstalling the driver and then reinstalling it. To do this, use the Device Manager as before, but this time select “Uninstall” from the menu instead of “Update Driver.” Once the driver has been uninstalled, restart your computer and let Windows automatically reinstall the driver. This may fix any issues with the driver that were causing the error.
  4. If the above steps do not work, you can try resetting your computer to its default settings. This will undo any recent changes you have made to your system, including changes to device drivers and other software. To do this, you can use the “Reset this PC” feature in Windows. Open the Settings app, go to the “Update & Security” section, and select “Reset this PC” from the menu. Follow the on-screen instructions to reset your computer and see if that fixes the error.

I hope this helps! If you continue to experience the error after trying these steps, you may want to contact a computer technician for further assistance.
