Xiaomi unveiled a few of new electric scooters. Driving the charge is the new Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2, which is equipped with a 300W engine so you can seamlessly tackle the hills without losing power.
The Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 scooter has a rating of 25 km/h, but has a battery that will give you a range of 45 km (28 miles), although the real range will depend on how you drive, how heavy you are and so on. However, the battery will take 8 hours to recharge.
Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 has large 8-inch wheels, with an ABS electric system to prevent brake blocking and drifting. There are front, side and rear reflectors, as well as a 2W headlight that will light up 10 meters later, but most importantly, it will make you more visible on the roads in more adverse conditions.
The handle will be folded for portability with the whole weight of the thing at 14.2 kg.
There is also a built-in LCD screen so you can view real-time information such as speed, with Bluetooth connectivity for smartphone control, so you can remotely control the battery level or lock your scooter remotely.
It’s not the only e-scooter Xiaomi is updating. There is a slightly lower spec version, the Mi Electric Scooter 1S. It has a 250W engine, a range of 30 km (18.6 miles) and weighs 12.5 kg.Photo:Xiaomi
