Sample Tank delivers an interface that is separated into Three environments focused in layering, mixing, and editing sounds. The DAW comes along with 21 instrument categories and over 4,000 instruments, as well as over 2,500 percussion, drum, and complete construction-kit loops. Sample Tank also provides 55 built-in effects for mastering and mixing. IK Multimedia Sample Tank is a DAW for Windows and OS X. It is used for producing music in studio and for live performances.
The app is packaged with many sound libraries full of instruments, loops, and patterns. You can additionally add a lot more libraries via the IK Online Store.

SampleTank 3 currently supports direct integration with iRig Pads, IK’s ultra-portable MIDI groove controller.
Plug in your iRig Pads (or some other pad-based MIDI controller) and you can take benefit of SampleTank’s Pad interface, which lets you assign SampleTank 3’s 16 parts to the 16 pads on your controller for a smooth and tactile “out-of-the-box” music production practical experience.
