Subwoofer Monitor Audio Gold W12

May 23, 2020

Don’t just listen to your music and movies, FEEL it, with the fantastic Gold W12 Monitor Audio.

The gold standard in the bottom
With an immense array of three-controller subwoofers, a 600-watt Class-D amplifier, and sophisticated Digital Signal Processing (DSP), the W12 Gold audio monitor sets a new standard in bass definition. Factor in sumptuous, quality finish and the Gold W12 becomes an irresistible force.

APC
APC (Automatic Position Correction) is an exclusive Monitor Audio technology that uses a built-in microphone and test tones to optimize the subwoofer’s response. At the touch of a button, the frequency response is ideally adapted to your room, so no longer excessive low ‘boom’.

Triple range of controllers with 600 watts of amplifier for huge bass
For the window floor, there are few that can match the golden W12. The 12-inch active long-range woofer is reinforced by a pair of AdR (Auxiliary Radiator Basss) that help lower the bass to a prodigious extension of 20 Hz. Combined with a powerful 600-watt Hypex Class-D amplifier, the Gold W12 simply continues to run with ample reserve for more dynamic movie soundtracks and music events.

Highly controlled sound
In addition to being powerful, the Gold W12 is also highly controlled. The use of a rigid but lightweight C-CAM cone (Ceramic-Coated Aluminium/Magnesium) provides a sensitive bass. The triple-suspension controller with a large vocal coil provides the ideal linearity for perfect control, even when the cone is fully extended.

Adjustable sound with SubConnect
Connect via USB and you can use the SubConnect Audio Monitor app for a variety of settings. Four fully configurable settings include modes for Plane/Music/Movie and Impact. Refine these settings by adjusting the frequency, slope, adjustment and equalization filters and you have a subwoofer that’s perfectly suited to your tastes. If you want to check the sub to listen late at night, simply select “Night Mode” to reduce the dynamics.

Choosing luxury finishes
Once you’ve decided on this subwoofer, the hardest part is choosing which of the sumptuous finishes to choose from. Choose Black Walnut or Ebony Piano for a rich and traditional style or Piano Gloss Black or Satin White for more contemporary appeal. Whichever color you choose, you can make sure The Audio Monitor is the usual immaculate fit and finish of Monitor Audio. Photo:Monitor Audio
