Yamaha RX-A6A – The AVENTAGE AV receiver

The latest Aventage series has a new style. With its glossy black finish and sleek control panel, the Yamaha RX-A6A AV Receiver is less bulky than before, with timeless minimalism.

Powerful, high-end sound and all the connectivity you might need make the Yamaha RX-A6A an AV receiver that’s too good to use.

9.2 channels for surround sound
With no less than 9.2 channels of sound, the Yamaha RX-A6A opens up a new field of possibilities. With a 5.2.4 configuration, you can use four ceiling speakers for maximum Atmos and DTS sound:X. 7.2.2 gives greater sound diffusion in the room, but still retains two ceiling speakers. For larger rooms and non-Atmos systems, 9.2 channels provide fully immersive sound.
Upgrade to 11 audio channels for cinematic immersion
Add an additional stereo power amplifier for superior surround sound. Set four Atmos-enabled speakers or ceiling, as well as 7-channel surround sound. You can also use two Atmos speakers and enjoy a wide stage with “wide front speakers” forming a 9.2.2 system. If you don’t want a specific Dolby Atmos system but want the most immersive sound possible, choose an 11.2 setting. This delivers 7.2 sound with the addition of front width and height speakers.
High output power
The multichannel output backup is a high-power amplifier. With a power of 150 watts per channel, the RX-a6a fills large rooms with dynamic and effortless sound. If you want to stay on the edge of your home with cinema sensations, this is the AV receiver for you.

Surround: AI provides the ultimate surround sound – scene by scene. The powerful DSP (Digital Sound Processor) processing analyzes the scenes in real time, and then adjusts the surround effect in real time. Focusing on different sounds like dialogues, background music and sound effects, the RX-a6a automatically optimizes the sound for incredible realism.

Qualcomm QCS407 system chips offer advanced compatibility, digital signal processing and seamless integration. These are SABRE ES9026 PRO and ES9007S premium DAC (digital to analog converters). These offer exceptionally high signal-to-noise ratios, offering ultra-low distortion levels and crisp sound even at low volume levels.

With a wide range of surround sound support, the RX-a6a is all about surround sound, but many speakers. Supported formats include Dolby Atmos, Dolby Atmos pitch virtualization technology, DTS: X, DTS Neural: X and Auro-3D. Professional connections – Balanced XLR
With a balanced XLR interface, the Yamaha RX-A6A is capable of professional-grade connectivity. XLR connections have additional shielding, which makes them more resistant to electrical interference. Another advantage is the ability to operate longer cables with minimal quality loss. For the best audio connection, go to XLR.
Connect several – including one turntable
In addition to seven HDMI inputs, this Yamaha AVR also has a wide range of AV connectivity. Component and composite inputs cover classic video sources. The optical and coaxial digital inputs are ideal for connecting older devices or updating the sound of a compatible CD/network player. Five analog inputs are perfect for hi-fi components, with the dedicated MM phono input perfect for connecting a turntable.

Coupled with HDMI inputs, the RX-A6A has no less than three HDMI outputs. This allows you to connect a TV and a projector in the master bedroom, and a second TV in another room.
Dedicated HDMI Zone B
The Yamaha RX-A6A has a dedicated Zone B output. The change zone allows you to see and feel one fountain in one room and another in a different room. The second zone can also use dedicated preamplifier or speaker outputs for complete independence. Other bonuses include an Additional bass area and a volume equalizer area for customized sound in the second area.

Support new generation high resolution – 8K
With a trio of 8K compatible HDMI inputs and a corresponding output, this Yamaha AVR is ready for the next generation of TVs. If you have not yet made the jump to 8K TV, the sockets also handle signals up to 4K / 120Hz, for a switch of the highest quality. The extension to UHD 4K is also standard.
Compatible with Dolby Vision and HDR10+
The RX-A6A supports a wide range of high dynamic range video formats. These include Dolby Vision, HDR10 and GAL. It also supports HDR10+, which improves the realism of images by sending dynamic metadata to the TV.

Gaming – eliminate lag and frame tearing
The latest HDMI support also marks a huge improvement in gaming. Support for 4K/120Hz and VRR (variable refresh rate) maximizes resolution and clarity. Fast image transport (QFT) and low latency automatic mode (ALLM) help eliminate image lag and tearing, providing a smoother and more responsive gaming experience.
