9.2 channels for surround sound
With no less than 9.2 channels of sound, the Yamaha RX-A6A opens up a new field of possibilities. With a 5.2.4 configuration, you can use four ceiling speakers for maximum Atmos and DTS sound:X. 7.2.2 gives greater sound diffusion in the room, but still retains two ceiling speakers. For larger rooms and non-Atmos systems, 9.2 channels provide fully immersive sound.
Upgrade to 11 audio channels for cinematic immersion
Add an additional stereo power amplifier for superior surround sound. Set four Atmos-enabled speakers or ceiling, as well as 7-channel surround sound. You can also use two Atmos speakers and enjoy a wide stage with “wide front speakers” forming a 9.2.2 system. If you don’t want a specific Dolby Atmos system but want the most immersive sound possible, choose an 11.2 setting. This delivers 7.2 sound with the addition of front width and height speakers.
High output power
The multichannel output backup is a high-power amplifier. With a power of 150 watts per channel, the RX-a6a fills large rooms with dynamic and effortless sound. If you want to stay on the edge of your home with cinema sensations, this is the AV receiver for you.

The powerful DSP (Digital Sound Processor) processing analyzes the scenes in real time, and then adjusts the surround effect in real time. To easily reduce wiring, the RX-a6a offers the possibility of wireless rear speakers.
