ZenFone AR smartphone with Tango and Daydream by Google-Future technology
Tango is a set of sensors and computer vision software that gives ZenFone AR the ability to understand space and motion like humans do.Tango detect how far away it is from the floor, walls and objects.
A motion tracking, depth sensing and high-resolution 23MP camera —this is ZenFone AR innovative TriCam system consisting of three rear cameras. The depth sensing camera with an infrared projector lets ZenFone AR measure its distance from real-world objects.ZenFone AR,together with Tango, delivers engaging augmented reality experiences for you to explore and enjoy.
The Snapdragon 821 comes as a surprise but Asus says it’s been tuned for VR and AR. Even then, power users
and gamers have nothing to complain about unless they have a spec sheet fixation. A bigger issue is the ZenUI
skin and Android 7.0 – come on Asus, gives us a stock UI and updated OS.
The Snapdragon 821 might offer a smooth experience, but it’s not as efficient as the newer 835. Expect not more than
a day’s usage from the 3300mAh battery. And yes, there’s USB Type-C,Quick Charge 3.0 and a pretty speedy frontfacing fingerprint scanner.
SonicMaster 3.0 technology combines more audio innovations for AR and VR-more volume, more quality and more effects. The new five-magnet speaker is driven by a powerful NXP Smart AMP, for expansive, high-volume output.
The 23MP rear camera offers good detail and accurate colours. Low-light performance is
decent enough, but falls short of the best on offer from other flagships.Meanwhile, the 8MP
front camera also offers good detail.
