55” LG UHD TV, entry-level 4K TV with good performance

LG UM7300PUA is a good entry-level 4K TV that works well in most uses. It has wide viewing angles that fit large rooms with large seating area, and has a decent maximum brightness and great reflection management, making it a great choice for bright environments. Most players should be satisfied with their low entry delay and quick response time, but if you need support for variable update frequency, you’ll need to look elsewhere. Unfortunately, like most IPS panels, it has a mediocre contrast ratio and does not have a local blackout function that can improve it. Although this TV supports HDR, it cannot display a wide range of colors and its maximum brightness in HDR mode is not able to highlight reflections as expected. However, if you need a basic TV with good performance, the LG UM7300 is a perfect choice.LG UM7300PUA

LG UM7300PUA is a great TV for most uses. It’s best suited for bright rooms, as their contrast ratio is mediocre and blacks tend to look gray in the dark. It has an exceptionally low entry delay and response time to make it a great choice for games, and has very few uniformity issues that can be distracted when watching sports. You can view HDR content, but performance is limited by maximum brightness and lack of extensive color range support.

Mediocre TV to watch movies in a dark room. It can’t produce deep, uniform blacks. The movement looks decent overall as it has an excellent response time, but there are duplications that move from the flicker of the backlight. You can remove the judder from real 24p sources, but not from movies played from a 60 Hz source, such as a cable box.LG UM7300PUA-LG UM7300 is a great TV for playing video games. It has an exceptional entry delay in all supported resolutions, and its response time is just as great, with very minimal blurring in fast-moving scenes. Unfortunately, it doesn’t support any variable update frequency technology, but it does have a “Automatic Low Latency Mode”, which saves you the hassle of having to change the image mode every time you want to play.

The LG UM7300PUA is mediocre for watching HDR movies. The TV supports HDR10, but not HDR10 or Dolby Vision. In addition, it cannot display a wide range of colors and cannot be bright enough to highlight small mirror reflections.

This is a good TV for HDR games, mainly due to the performance of the game, since HDR does not add much on this TV. It has an outstanding low input delay, and an excellent response time. Unfortunately, it’s not suitable for night games, but wide viewing angles make it a great choice for cooperative couch games with some friends.LG UM7300PUA---Excellent TV for use as a PC monitor. It has an exceptional low input delay, for a responsive desktop experience, and supports all resolutions common to 60 Hz. It has a great response time, but the backlight flashes at 120Hz, which can annoy some people with prolonged use. It can display the appropriate 4:4:4 chroma, so that the text looks good at any resolution. Photo:LG
