You may have noticed that some Honda and Toyota four-cylinder vehicles require SAE viscosity 0W16 oil. The oils really stand out on a shelf because the last number is strange because it doesn’t end in a 5 or 0. 0W16 oil has been around for nearly two decades in Japan. It is an oil designed to increase engine efficiency and reduce engine heating time.

0W16 Engine Oil

Pros: Ultra-low viscosity for exceptional fuel efficiency and cold-start performance. Ideal for modern, high-efficiency engines (e.g., hybrids, small-displacement turbo engines). Reduces friction, enhancing engine responsiveness and lowering emissions.
Best for: Newer vehicles designed for ultra-thin oils, especially in cold climates.

0W8 Engine Oil

Pros: Even lower viscosity than 0W16, maximizing fuel economy and minimizing engine wear during startup in extremely cold conditions. Optimized for cutting-edge, high-performance engines requiring minimal drag.
Best for: Specific ultra-efficient vehicles (e.g., certain Japanese hybrids) engineered for this ultra-low viscosity oil.
Both oils excel in fuel savings and cold-weather performance but are only suitable for engines explicitly designed for them—check your vehicle’s manual!

In the United States, 0W16 oils were to be part of the deployment of ILSAC GF-6 as GF-6B oil. What is significant about GF-6B oils is that the specification will not be compatible with previous versions due to new degrees of viscosity. F.E.A.-compliant GF-6A lubricants mean that GF-6A engine oils of the appropriate conventional viscosity grade are acceptable for use in cars whose proprietary manuals recommended previous categories of GF (GF-1 to GF-5). GF-6B engine oils should only be used when recommended by OEM (follow the owner’s manual). 0W8 is another planned viscosity that will be in the GF-6B category.

GF-6 oils were delayed due to a debate on some of the test sequences and test engines. However, OEMs planned to implement the new engine technology years in advance. OEMs like Honda and Toyota prepared for the distribution and availability of GF-6B oils many years ago. This is why you are looking at 0W16 oils before seeing GF-6 oils.car-engine

SN-Plus
Many 0W16 oils have a new bottle doughnut certification brand called API SN-PLUS and SN-PLUS Resource Conserving. In the bottle, you can also see OEM certifications for Honda and Toyota.

According to the API, SN-PLUS is formulated to provide SN API performance and additional protection against low-speed pre-ignition for direct-injection and turbocharged engines. SN-PLUS oils can effectively lubricate engines that call SN APIs, SN API with Resource Conserving, or ILSAC GF-5.

0W16 or 0W20?
The big question among stores is hw can four points in the assessment of viscosity change engine performance and longevity? This is hard-to-get data, let alone evaluated.

The only undisputed document is the owner’s manual. For the 2018 Honda Fit, Honda recommends a 0W16 API or 0W20 certified oil. For the 2018 Toyota Camry with the four-cylinder engine A25A-FKS 2.5L, we recommend 0W16 oil that meets the standards of storage of SN API resources. It supports Dolby Atmos and engaging content, although it doesn’t provide the most immersive listening experience. On the plus side, there are a lot of sound customization features in the Samsung app, including a graphic equalizer, presets, and a dialog enhancement feature, so you can easily adjust the bar to suit your needs. Adaptive audio can also scan audio content in real time and adjust the sound of content optimization, but we don’t test it.

The Samsung HW-Q800T soundbar is a 3.1.2 setup of Samsung’s 2020 line. This sleek and well-built configuration has two built-in speakers on the bar and a separate wireless subwoofer. It comes with Samsung Acoustic Beam technology that uses bar shooting speakers to help provide a more immersive listening experience. Its Q-Symphony feature also allows you to sync Samsung QLED TV speakers with the bar for a more cinematic sound, although we currently don’t test for it. Amazon Alexa Voice Assistant support is built into your design, and you can also mute the microphone when you’re not using it. Overall, its sound playback is very neutral and well-balanced ready to use, making it suitable for a variety of audio content. Although it can play engaging content and Dolby Atmos, unfortunately, it does not provide the most immersive listening experience. The Razer BlackWidow is a very decent keyboard. It is primarily designed to be a gaming keyboard and is an outstanding choice for this. Each key is macro-programmable, has full RGB backlighting, and the Razer Green switches have a low pre-travel distance. Unfortunately, it is not ideal for long typing sessions, as the lack of a rest on the wrist can cause fatigue quickly. On the plus side, it’s a well-built keyboard and the keys are mostly stable.

The Razer BlackWidow is the basic keyboard of Razer’s BlackWidow line. It is thought to be a cheaper option for the BlackWidow Elite and does not come with a rest on the wrist or dedicated media buttons. However, it remains an exceptional gaming keyboard with Razer’s patented clicky green switches, which have a low pre-travel distance, ideal for players. You can set macros to any key either via the Razer Synapse 3 software or on the keyboard itself, and it has full RGB backlighting. Unfortunately, it doesn’t offer much in the way of ergonomics and its high profile can lead to writing fatigue. Finally, this keyboard is compatible with Windows, macOS and Linux, but the dedicated software is only available on Windows.Razer BlackWidow Keyboard

The Razer BlackWidow is outstanding for the game. Patented Razer Green switches have a low pre-trip distance, don’t require much force to operate, and provide good clicky feedback. Unfortunately, you don’t have a break in your wrist, which can cause fatigue during long gaming sessions.

The Razer BlackWidow is well for office use. It offers good writing quality with good tactile feedback, but the switches are too strong to be used in an open office environment. It doesn’t offer much in the way of ergonomics, so you may feel tired of writing about it for long periods.

The BlackWidow Razer is good for programming. All keys are programmable macros either through the dedicated software or the keyboard itself. It has a good writing quality, but without a rest on your wrist, you can feel exhausting typing on this keyboard for long periods. However, the amount of “Direct Full Array” LED backlighting zones varies depending on the panel size: the Q800T 82in has 32 zones, while the 65in and 75in have only 24 zones. In comparison to Samsung’s 2019 4K flagship, the Q90R, which has 480 lighting zones, the Q800T has much less lighting zones. Another disadvantage is that the Q800T can only display material at its maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz for 4K resolution and 60 Hz for 8K native resolution.

Samsung’s most cutting-edge image processor to date, the Quantum Processor 8K, is available in the Samsung Q800T. Though there isn’t a ton of native 8K content accessible, most of what you’d be watching on the Q800T would not be. Aside from the respectable choice on Vimeo and YouTube.
