Elegant Danish style and practical DAB radio combine to make Tangent Tuner II the perfect addition to your Hi-Fi system.
DAB and FM
With DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting) you get a whole new list of stations. With popular digital-only stations like BBC 6 Music and 4 Extra, there’s a much wider variety of stations to listen to. Analogue FM is also basic and perfect for local stations or parts of the country where DAB reception is less accessible. RDS offers FM radio some of the functions of DAB, including station name and radio text.
Narrower than most stand-alone hi-fi’s, the compact Tangent Tuner II fits into the tightest of places. The matched CD player and amplifier create a tidy system that has the convenience of a mini system with the sound quality of separate devices. Photo: Tangent
Remote system control
The supplied remote not only operates the tuner but also controls a complete Tangent system, including an amplifier and CD player, making the complete Tangent system as convenient as an all-in-one system. The Tangent Tuner II remote also manages the Ampster BT II and CD ll, so when all three components are stacked together or placed separately, each remote can be used to operate all components. Or you can choose to use only one remote and keep the other two remotes.
Featuring an optical digital output, the Tangent Tuner II is ideal for use with an upgraded digital-to-analog converter (DAC) or digital amplifier. Six presets are easily accessible via the remote control and provide direct access to your favorite radio stations.
