The Alchemy DPA-2 Amplifier is a ideal match, both equally, sonically and visually, for the companion ELAC Alchemy Series DDP-2 preamp/DAC. Some other stereo preamps may not supply a powerful enough signal level to generate full use of the DPA-2’s enormous power, but don’t be concerned. For those situations, this amplifier comes with a high/low gain switch for much better system corresponding.

It boasts a completely discrete FET input stage with DC servo-controlled output stage, extra low noise DC voltage regulators, a toroidal transformer and linear power supply for the input stage, and a high-efficiency, low-noise switching power supply for the Class D PWM output stage. The output power can be read out on the LCD info display screen.
