The Logitech ERGO K860 is a beautiful, ergonomic keyboard with a curved design. While this type of design can take some getting used to, it reduces wrist tension and is very comfortable to write once you do it well. The plate is well built and also has negative angled feet. It features typical scissor switches, which are very similar to Apple’s Magic keyboard or Logitech MX keys.
The Logitech K860 is an excellent ergonomic office keyboard. If you encounter a lot of pain in the wrist, a curved board with a negative angle can help. Even the writing noise is also kept to a minimum, so it won’t bother the people around you. It may take some time to get used to the key design, but it’s quite efficient once you get it down.
Logitech ERGO K860 is a decent keyboard for mixed use. This ergonomic keyboard is designed for employees who want to reduce wrist tension thanks to a curve board design and a negative angle as they type. Scissor switches on the keyboard are not the best for games and since you can’t program macros, it won’t be ideal for programming.
Logitech ERGO K860 is not designed for gaming. Scissor switches have a low drive force and a short pre-travel, but require a lot of force to pass the pre-action bulge. The shape and size of the board will not be the best for games.
Logitech ERGO K860 is just a proper programming keyboard. You cannot set macros and the tab does not have backlighting. On the plus side, it provides a great typing experience and has an excellent ergonomic design.
The construction quality of Logitech K860 is good. This plastic board has a bit of flexibility, but it doesn’t look cheap enough to break. The non-removable wrist rest is very comfortable and feels high-end. The keys are printed on the pad, and although they feel a little different from the Logitech MX keys, they are not too cheap. If you want a similar ergonomic keyboard with better build quality, check out Microsoft Surface’s ergonomic keyboard. The ergonomics of the K860 are incredible. The board is curved, with two different key sections for the hands. It may seem strange at first and take some time to get used to it, but when you do, this board feels very comfortable. In addition, it has a fixed wrist rest, which is well padded and comfortable. In addition, it has two tilt adjustments, which create a negative angle, relieving some stress on the wrist.
Logitech K860 keyboard has exceptional wireless versatility. You can connect the keyboard to your computer using the USB receiver or connect it via Bluetooth. It pairs perfectly with any Bluetooth enabled device, but we had some issues with the handset where the keyboard would continue to connect and disconnect on its own. On the plus side, you can connect to three devices at once and easily switch between them.
The Logitech ERGO K860’s PerfectStroke keys are comfy to work with, but they are not backlit. There is not very much more in terms of color, such as RGB lighting, and the keyboard is only offered in black. It’s absolutely more of a professional work, home office keyboard, so all those capabilities are not needed, or appropriate.
Even though it requires time to modify to its split-key design, the Logitech ERGO K860 is an outstanding keyboard. The front side end tilt support is exciting and refreshing, and will help keep your hands properly positioned over the keyboard.
It’s definitely not for gaming, but great for typing all day, every day. One thing to bear in mind, though, is that the spacing of the keys can be a problem for programmers who mainly use the arrow keys when coding.
The Logitech ERGO K860 ergonomic desk keyboard is a durable and thoughtfully-designed peripheral that is very good for very long typing sessions, offering superb support with its wrist relax and front tilt legs.
Its design is modern with a curved, split keyframe to give complete ergonomic support and increase position; it’s black color, pro looking and uses Logitech’s PerfectStroke key system, which is comparable to the scissor-key mechanism used on laptop keyboards. It is strong and wireless and connects via Logitech’s unifying receiver USB dongle and Bluetooth. At the same time, its atypically placed feet – at the front, not the backside – can tilt the keyboard at 4 and 7-degree angles.
