Being a professional gamer is not a cheap thing to get. There is a lot of equipment to buy and it is not the cheapest, but also not too expensive. The first thing is a controller. Now You can use only one standard controller or you can use what most of the pros use and that is a SCUF controller. You can buy a SCUF controller and add some customization to it our can mail in your driver and personalize it and Have it shipped back to you. For customization I intend to add a skin design to the controller, adding grip, changing the stick controller and or adding palettes. Now the skin design is just what covers the base of the controller, so instead of having a smooth black controller you could have a red and black controller. It just makes it look like the cooler controller. The grip is just so you have a better grip on the controller, so it doesn’t slip out of your hands.
There are two types of control sticks that you can use; Concave and domed . Concave is where the center of the barrel collapses and the dome is where the stick is dome shaped. They Don’t necessarily make you play better, it’s just your preference for what you want to use. Palettes are designed to map buttons. By that I mean to have the palette Replace a button so you don’t have to use that button.
These go to the back of the controller. For example Let’s say the A button is used to jump, customizing the controller blades You can assign one of the oars To the a button. So instead of having to push a to jump, you can push the shovel into place. Now the palettes can be assigned to any button you want, just do what suits your style of play. You Can have up to four paddles, which means you can have four buttons relocated to the paddles.
The next thing you want to get is a gaming headset. The Two main companies are Turtle Beach and ASTRO Gaming. These headphones allow you to listen to the sound of the game and the audio of the chat in the headphones. It is up to you to figure out which levels you want each audio in. Each person has their own preference, but most professional players use ASTRO Gaming. Also, each person will say that one is better than the other based on which handset they have. I’ve had a Turtle Beach headset before, but now I have a ASTRO Gaming headset. Personally I think Astros are better because they are designed better, and I think they have better quality.
You want to have one of these brands because they will help you in the game. It will help You listen to things remotely and will help you listen to the people who come after you. Do Some research, look at the comments, and talk to your friends about them and buy what you think is best. The last thing you need is a monitor. There are a lot of companies that do monitors, just like the earphones each person has their own brand preference they use. Major League Gaming uses BenQ monitors. They also Have a specific monitor that is used by professionals at events. You can just find them googling. These have the best quality and shortest lag response time. The image is so clear, colorful, and it’s nice because there is no lag that means everything that happens happens in real time without delay. Another thing I would recommend is a recording of a device to record their gameplays.
These are the only two I know, but I’m sure there’s more. Before purchasing any of these, make sure that your computer or laptop reaches and or exceeds the device specifications. These are not necessary to be a professional gamer, but it is good to record your gameplays and make videos of them and post them on YouTube. Basically, every professional gamer makes YouTube videos of their games. You can get fans to watch and subscribe to your YouTube channel. This is not a necessity, but it is a beautiful thing to show to others. These are the products that players in general and professional gamers use. I highly Recommend to look at all these.
