Review: Curved Monitor Xiaomi Mi 34″ 144Hz FreeSync-WQHD, flicker free…

Xiaomi MI 34″ 144 Hz FreeSync curved Monitor has a 21:9 gaming interface that offers 30% wider viewing than standard 16:9 monitors. Especially in real-time strategy and first-person shooting games, the wider field of view allows you to see in-game developments first, giving you the edge. The ultra-high definition resolution of 3440 x 1440 reveals exquisitely realistic details in every corner of the scene, creating spectacular game worlds. With a brightness of up to 300 nits and a high contrast ratio of 3000:1, the Xiaomi Mi 34″ monitor shows beautiful clear and vivid images, from blinding white to midnight black. The extreme 1500R curvature design seems to be surrounded by the screen, giving you stunning panoramic views. The curved screen creates a smaller visual tilt angle so that each point on the screen is almost as far away from the eyes, reducing visual distortion and giving a more realistic view of each angle.Xiaomi Mi 34" 144Hz FreeSync Curved Monitor

144 Hz high frequency refresh rate and 4ms response time effectively reduce stutters and ghosts in games. In shooting games that require quick reactions, this makes it easier to pin accurately and hit the target when speed is key to winning. AMD FreeSync Premium technology keeps the image in sync with high frame rate input, reducing stuttering, lines, and screen tear during games for a smoother image that gives you a significant advantage. The monitor can display a theoretical maximum of 16.7 million true colors in depth of rich color, and the wide color range of up to 121%sRGB displays exquisite colors in vivid detail. The 34-inch ultrawide Xiaomi Curved Display 34 is a very affordable model that doesn’t skimp on either performance or quality. Although Xiaomi isn’t especially well-known in the gaming industry, its rapid expansion into a variety of sectors, including display products, has been remarkable so far. The Xiaomi Surface Display 34 is shrouded in controversy, but let’s put it to the test to see how it performs for gaming.

The Xiaomi Curved Display 34 has excellent build quality and seems like it was made to last. Although it is primarily constructed of plastic, once you hold the device you can feel how substantial and solidly built it is. We believe that the minor wobbling on the stand is due to weight and is typical for a monitor of this size. The Xiaomi Curved Display 34’s reliance on OSD buttons for control is one indication of its affordable price.

The 34-inch curved VA panel on the Xiaomi Curved Display 34 has a resolution of 3440 x 1440, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, and a response time of 4 ms. The contrast ratio is set at 3000:1, which is typical for VA panels, and the backlight is rated at 300 cd/m2. Additionally, it isn’t highlighted as being HDR compatible because it lacks the necessary performance components.
Since it strikes a good mix between visibility and sharpness, 34-inch monitors with QHD resolution are excellent for all uses. Games look stunning with a hint of clarity and the additional peripheral vision, and performance is unaffected because most players wouldn’t have trouble reading them.

The lack of HDR support—not even the base DisplayHDR 400 specification—is caused by the brightness. However, the 144Hz refresh rate and compatibility with FreeSync allow you can play games at high, variable frame rates without screen tearing. We were able to get FreeSync running with our Nvidia GTX 1080 even though the display wasn’t officially approved because FreeSync is intended for AMD GPUs and I have an Nvidia GTX 1080.

Exceptional color performance creates realistic images. This is combined with the 1500Rcurved widescreen display, to offer a more immersive audiovisual entertainment experience. The thin 2mm bezel not only increases the screen-body ratio, but also makes the edge of the screen less distracted. The ultra-wide 21:9 image is also closer to the size of the cinema screen. Combined with the panoramic curved screen, this Xiaomi Mi 34″ monitor offers a cinematic quality viewing experience that makes it easier to get lost in the movie. The 21:9 aspect ratio extends the edge of the screen, giving more viewing space than a standard 16:9 monitor. Xiaomi Mi 34" 144Hz FreeSync Curved MonitorThe larger screen supports split-screen multitasking, so you can open multiple documents at the same time and work more efficiently. The wider color range and expertly designed color display provide a more accurate visual presentation. The ultra-wide display can accommodate multiple images for easy accurate correction. For those working in the financial industry, the 21:9 screen report shows more information about the actions without excessive expense, showing K-lines and trend-charts with more complete and detailed information. Equipped with technology to control and reduce blue light and flicker, it filters high-energy blue light for a clear and long-lasting image to effectively reduce eye fatigue. Designed with your health in mind, the adjustable monitor support not only meets the professional needs of various occupations, but also allows you to adjust the angle of vision for optimal comfort to effectively prevent neck tension. The bracket is designed with internal cables, with cables passing through the center of the bracket. This keeps the tangle of wires out of the desk and gives you back your space. The Xiaomi MI 34″ monitor is equipped with a high-temperature matte polyurethane coating, so it’s soft and gentle to the touch. Xiaomi Mi 34" 144Hz FreeSync Curved Monitor

The Mi Curved Gaming Monitor offers a stylish, basic design and a flexible stand that can tilt, rotate, lift, and lower the screen. The monitor was very simple to attach, and the stand has magnetic covers that are simple to pop on and off to help with wire management.
Before HDR became more popular on PC, the monitor’s screen is comparable to what you could have initially expected from a high-end ultrawide a few years ago. It has a 34-inch screen with a resolution of 3440 x 1440, which is the typical 21:9 resolution for a panel that size; this is equivalent to having a 27-inch 1440p screen with a third more horizontal space. The monitor has a 1500R curvature.

Overall, Xiaomi’s Mi Curved Gaming Monitor 34 has a wide range of features. The Samsung VA panel itself is excellent for everyday usage and gaming, and the monitor’s attractive appearance makes it stand out in this class.
The monitor offers immersive images with vivid colors and a 144Hz refresh rate, making it an excellent choice for gaming. Even though HDR is not included in this case, the monitor is still a fantastic value for the money (£339.98).

The Mi Curved Gaming Monitor gets the essentials right, although it does lack a few of the luxuries you’ll find on more expensive devices. Although the presence of two DisplayPort and HDMI connections per is generous, that is all you get + a headphone jack. There is no USB hub capability at all, and USB-C is not supported for single-cable charging and display output.
But none of those are deal-breakers for the basic functionality of the Mi Curved Gaming Monitor, at least not for us. We believe this is a surprisingly good value option if you’ve been considering going into ultrawide gaming or even just getting additional desktop space.

If you take into account how much screen space and refresh rate you are getting for your money, the Xiaomi Curved Display 34 is a great purchase. Additionally, for a cheap alternative, its VA panel performs well in terms of color and contrast. It doesn’t contain many gamer extras, but the most of those aren’t required to play your games or streamline your workflow in general.

The Xiaomi Mi 34″ monitor are designed to adapt, the entire assembly process requires a single quick release closure. Magnetic connectors make the monitor and stand look like a solid piece, making the assembly easier. Photo:Xiaomi
