For all we know for sure, the Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8 + (2018) show off the Infinity Display design. The Galaxy A8 (2018) boasts a 5.6-inch screen, while the Galaxy A8 + (2018) features a larger 6-inch screen. Both models use a Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2220 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.5: 9.
For photography, the Galaxy A8 (2018) series has a dual camera on the front side. Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8 + (2018) have a combination of 16 megapixel and 8 megapixel front camera with an aperture of f / 1.9 and Live Focus support. On the back they have a 16 megapixel sensor and a wider f / 1.7 aperture.
Under the hood, Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A8 + (2018) work with an octa-core processor, but Samsung has not confirmed whether it is an Exynos or Snapdragon chipset. Galaxy A8 (2018) has 4 GB of RAM and the internal storage option of 32 GB or 64 GB. Galaxy A8 + (2018) is available in two storage variants: 32 GB of storage with 4 GB of RAM and a 64 GB variant with 6 GB of RAM. Both smartphones are IP68 water and dust resistant and are compatible with Samsung Pay for mobile contactless payments.

The two smartphones run Android 7.1 Nougat from the beginning, which is disappointing, but it is likely that they will soon receive the Android 8.0 Oreo update.
