Review: Monitor MSI Optix G27C4-165Hz Refresh Rate, 1ms- made for gaming
The MSI Optix G27C4 monitor has a very simple design. It is mainly made of matte black plastic. The top and side frames are thin, but the lower bezel is much thicker. The stand has a tripod design with a shorter back leg, and the screen is curved.
MSI Optix G27C4 is a decent monitor for most uses. It may offer good image quality, but its 1080p resolution is a bit low for a 27-inch screen, which is less ideal for multitasking. It is a great game monitor, however, as it has an refresh rate of 165 Hz, an excellent response time(1ms) and a low input delay to provide a smooth and responsive gaming experience. It also supports the FreeSync variable update rate to reduce screen tear. The MSI Optix G27C4 monitor is a very good monitor with impressive gaming performance. With a 27-inch curved display, its 1080p resolution feels a bit poor, but it makes up for it with a high refresh rate, excellent motion management, and exceptionally low input delay. This monitor is suitable for darkroom games due to its high contrast ratio and can offer good image quality with saturated colors and fluid movement. Unfortunately, it does not support HDR, it has very few additional features, and its mediocre peak brightness can be a problem in very bright rooms.
The back of the monitor is plastic and has a subtle player-oriented design, although it shouldn’t look out of place in an office setting. The entrances are easily accessible; However, there is no integrated cable management and the media does not have a quick release feature. There is a joystick in the lower left corner to navigate the menu on the screen.Optix monitors come with an refresh rate of 165 Hz – 1 ms response time VA PANEL LED that has the maximum advantage in fast-moving game genres, such as first-person shooters, fighters, racing simulators, real-time strategy and sports. Such games require very fast and accurate movements, which ultra-high rate of updating and monitoring fast response time will put you ahead of the competition.
MSI Optix G27C4 is a high-quality game monitor. It has a high refresh rate and low response time to provide a fluid gaming experience. The input delay is outstanding and there is support for FreeSync’s variable update frequency, but unfortunately, its 1080p resolution can be a bit disappointing for fans of role-playing and atmospheric games. MSI Optix G27C4 monitor is a media-friendly monitor. Its 1080p resolution is a bit low, but its 27-inch screen allows you to see comfortably without having to sit up close. Display angles can be a problem if you want to share content with other users, and although it has excellent reflection management, displaying the screen in a bright room can be difficult due to the monitor’s low peak brightness.
