The Brother HL-L2350DW has a high quality of build and design. Although it is mainly plastic, it feels resistant, and there is no apparent problem with construction. The toner and drum unit are easily accessible from the front, and you can eliminate paper jams by simply opening the panel on the back. Unfortunately, the power cord is not removable and it is difficult to see the screen unless you are directly on it.
The screen is incorrect. It is a single-line monochrome LCD display with narrow viewing angles and there is no rotating or tilted adjustment to improve visibility. It’s responsive, but the menus are boring to navigate, as you can only use the physical buttons below. That said, this is a fairly simple printer with few features, and you don’t need to interact with the screen often beyond the initial setup. The cartridge system is excellent. It has an impressive page yield, which leads to less frequent replacement of the toner cartridge, and a higher performance cartridge is available separately. It also accepts third-party cartridges, but their use may void the manufacturer’s warranty. (Brother HL-L2350DW price:$119.99)
The Brother HL-L2350DW is ideal for printing black and white documents. Its high page yield means that you don’t need to replace the toner cartridge as often, so it’s very convenient for bulk printing. It is well built and designed to give easy access to the toner cartridge and paper jams. It’s a bit slow to get the first page out of a document, but it gets significantly faster for subsequent pages, pushing about 33 pages per minute.
Brother HL-L2350DW is mediocre for students. The black toner cartridge can produce a large number of pages before it needs to be replaced, keeping the long-term cost low. It has a high print speed, but it takes a while to warm up and get the front page. Unfortunately, it does not have a scanner and does not support external storage devices such as USB drives. It can be connected via Wi-Fi, however, and is compatible with Brother’s excellent mobile app.The Brother HL-L2350DW is a sub-par for small offices. The lack of color printing and a scanner could be a switch for most offices. In addition, it does not have an Ethernet port, which can be a problem for offices using a wired network. That said, if you only need to print in black, this printer has high page performance and fast print speed.
The Brother HL-L2350DW is a low-cost monochrome laser printer designed for offices with basic needs. HL-L2350DW can only print in black, so it may not be suitable for those who need color, even if it is only occasionally. That said, it prints black documents at incredible speed, and its high page rendering means you don’t need to replace the toner cartridge with frequency, making it a convenient option for high-volume printing. The construction quality is excellent, providing easy access to paper jams and toner cartridge. It has decent connectivity options, including Wi-Fi support and direct printing via AirPrint and Mopria, but its lack of an Ethernet port can be a problem for some offices. Also, it has no scanner and the screen is bad.Photo:Brother
