With NanoCell technology for stunning image quality, this 55-inch LG NanoCell TV makes images more realistic than ever.

NanoCell technology: improved color and wider viewing angle
Using even-sized screen particles, this 55-inch LG TV offers greater color accuracy and the ability to produce wider viewing angles with less color distortion. This means that the color accuracy remains virtually unchanged at a 60-degree display angle. Finally, everyone in the room can enjoy the highest quality images.c7387

Local Dimming for high quality contrast
Making the most of its NanoCell technology, this 55-inch LG TV is equipped with local Dimming. This ensures better contrast, with the ability to precisely control the darker and lighter sections of images. What this means for you is greater realism and most of the natural images possible from an LED display.

Improved processor to your heart
With the a7 Gen 2 processor at its center, this 55-inch LG TV is not only faster in processing, but produces a whole host of new features. Intelligent Artificial Intelligence (AI) benefits both image and sound for clearer images and audio to date.

The widest range of HDR support with Advanced HDR
LG continues its wide range of HDR support with this flexible TV. Technicolor Advanced HDR provides reference levels for image and color accuracy. In addition to the advanced HDR, this 55th LG TV also offers decoding for HDR10, HLG and Dolby Vision. HDR10 is widely used in Sony and Microsoft UHD video game consoles. HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma HDR) is a standard user-generated and broadcast format that is set to become the standard for transmitting 4K signals.

Dolby Vision for dramatic images
Dolby Vision optimizes HDR to simply deliver the sharpest and most accurate images possible. Dolby vision TVs, such as this LG, can decode generic HDR content and content that have been specifically encoded in Dolby Vision, a leading format in Hollywood and cinema. Dolby Vision also adjusts the image to take full advantage of the features of each screen and features an image optimized for each scene in specially mastered content.opo9987 2

AI image
Artificial intelligence comes to age with LG’s artificial intelligence image. This smart system compares the signal to a table of contents and automatically adjusts the image quality to the most accurate image possible. Using an ambient light sensor, the system adjusts the brightness of the display and other criteria (with HDR signals). The result is greater realism with a cleaner, sharper image.

AI Sound
If you fancy a more cinematic sound from the TV, then LG’s AI sound should be music to your ears. Using AI algorithms, AI Sound mixes two-channel audio with a virtual sound of 5.1, providing a much more immersive sound phase. The a7 Gen 2 processor also optimizes sound based on the type of content, providing clearer voices with news and drama. The powerful IA can also take into account the acoustics and design of your room and adjusts to give you the cleanest sound possible.

Improved Speaker System and Dolby Atmos
The advanced sound system uses a 2.2 speaker system with built-in subwoofers. Combined with the more powerful amp, this gives the audio a deeper and fuller sound of room, ideal for larger rooms. The Dolby Atmos processor decodes The Atmos soundtracks for a more immersive sound.

Upgrading to wireless surround sound with WiSA
WiSA stands for Wireless Speaker & Audio. The system wirelessly transmits sound up to 24-bit 96 kHz, 8 channels and includes Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. WiSA is flexible as you decide which speakers you want and where you want – it doesn’t even need to be from LG. Just search for WiSA-compatible speakers and decide how you want your audio to sound. – Need separate purchase of dongle.

Now with Apple AirPlay 2 and the Apple TV app
With support for Apple AirPlay 2, this 55-inch LG TV lets you stream effortlessly from your Apple device. Even better, support for the Apple TV app (Two 2020) lets you enjoy Apple’s 4K HDR content, with Dolby Atmos and high-quality viewing. Apple HomeKit support makes this LG highly compatible with the entire Apple system.kkio 5

Smart Voice Control: ThinQ AI integrates with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa
Voice control has become much smarter with this LG TV. Press the Dedicated Voice Microphone button and ThinQ IA will decide whether your TV software or Google Assistant controls the command. Google Assistant can change the channel and input using voice control. It also integrates with services like Google Photos and Google Maps to make your TV an even bigger source of entertainment. Alternatively, direct voice control via Amazon Alexa is also an option. Photo:LG
