Akaso EK7000 action camera is not too good in landscape photography. This camera is not designed for this use as it does not allow you to adjust ISO, shutter speed or aperture. Also, it does not come with an autofocus system. Although it is quite portable, its materials do not feel very robust without its included case.
Akaso EK7000 is horrible for travel photography. This camera isn’t really designed for photography, as the camera doesn’t allow you to adjust iso speed, aperture, or shutter. In addition, it is not created with an autofocus system, which can be disappointing if you want it to automatically monitor moving subjects.Action camera – AKASO EK7000 is great for action videos. This small lightweight camera can be easily mounted on helmet equipment. With its case included, it has a solid construction and is even classified for water resistance when used with your case, although we don’t test for it at the moment. He also does a good job of smoothing the camera shock. That said, its 4k and FHD video quality is poor and doesn’t offer many frame rate options for slow motion image recording.
The Akaso EK7000 has no camera stabilization, a feature that some of GoPro and Sony’s premium action cameras have pushed hard. Stabilization helps you get smoother images directly from the camera. Without this built-in feature, if you want a smoother movie than Akaso, your best approaches are to use a good gimbal or apply corrections during post-processing footage.
Burst mode requires a quick sequence of still images. It’s useful for quick action when you want to increase your chances of capturing the fleeting moment you’re looking for.
Burst mode on the EK7000 takes 3 photos over 1.5 seconds.

In general, action cameras don’t have a good battery life. The Akaso EK7000 adheres to this trend, but I was actually pleasantly surprised at how well it did. We did some tests, and at 4K25 and 1080p30, I received about 1 hour and 40 minutes, give or take, before the battery dies. For the 4K setting, this is actually slightly above some of its competitors. Overall, therefore, the battery life is quite insignificant compared to other action cameras. You won’t be surprised by the higher battery life, but again it also comes with a backup battery that can be put into good use.
To maximize battery life, leave the wifi off, do not use the mobile app, and minimize the amount of display on the back screen.It is also worth remembering that lithium batteries do not work well at very cold or very hot temperatures. This is not unique to this camera, it applies to all lithium batteries. So, if you’re filming in the winter cold and find that you’re not getting much battery usage, that might be the reason. You can try to keep the battery a little warmer to help you. An inner pocket of a jacket works great, but of course do not put it under any circumstances near a flame, oven or microwave! When lithium batteries burn, they burn exceptionally intensely. The Akaso EK7000 has a 12-megapixel camera and 4K recording despite being less expensive than many other action cameras. The two 90-minute batteries significantly increase battery life, allowing you to continue filming uninterrupted. Although it lacks picture stabilization and a touchscreen like the EK7000 pro, it can still function effectively in the majority of circumstances. In-camera stabilization is a feature that some of the more expensive action cameras from GoPro and Sony have been pushing aggressively, but the AKASO EK7000 is lacking of it. You may get smoother footage directly out of the camera with the assistance of stabilization. Without such feature, the only ways to get sleeker footage from the Akaso are to utilize a professional gimbal or to make adjustments to the footage after it has been shot.

The first thing you notice about Crucial X6 is how small it is; it’s not a small USB drive, but it’s not that far away. At 68.83 x 64 x 10.92 mm, weighing just 42g without cable, it is slightly larger and slightly lighter than its nearest competitor, Samsung’s acclaimed Portable T5, which was released in 2017. These controllers have a number of benefits, including a significant reduction in bill of materials (BOM) cost and overall device power consumption. However, such controllers were typically limited at speeds of about 400 MBps. Taking advantage of the USB 3.2 Gen 2 and Gen 2×2 interfaces, Phison introduced a pair of high-speed flash controllers with a USB interface directed to CES 2021. The U17, with an upstream USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Gbps) interface and a 2-channel 1200 MT/s downstream NAND interface, is the one on which Crucial’s portable 4TB SSD is based.

One of the biggest portable SSDs money can buy, the Crucial X6 4TB drive is interesting since it reaches the market at a competitive price. Those that need to store and move massive amounts of data easily may find this drive interesting.
Currently, the X6 line of USB 3.2 Gen 2 portable SSDs comes in capacities of 500GB, 1TB, 2TB, and 4TB. Under the hood of the X6 4TB enclosure, which is made of plastic like all other X6 models, is the DRAM-less Phison PS2251-17 NAND flash controller, which always, according to the manufacturer, can achieve speeds of up to 1000-800MB/s in sequential reads and writes (800MB/s for the 4TB model).

The Crucial X6 4TB portable SSD has dimensions of 69 mm by 64 mm by 11 mm and has 43 grams without the cable for our tests. The drive is superb in terms of size and overall feel. Due to the rounded corners, there are no sharp corners, and the matte surface doesn’t show fingerprints as much as other housings.
The retail packaging for the 4TB Crucial X6 Portable Drive is the same as for the other variants. A USB Type-C to Type-C connection, a quick start manual, and of course the drive itself are all included in the box.Crucial attestation speeds of up to 800 MBps for both reads and writes. This is significantly higher than the 540 MBps numbers possible with SATA-based external SSDs. Officially, X6 drives have ‘Micron 3D NAND’ and there is no generation/level counting specification. However, Crucial has indicated that the X6 4TB drives that are shipped today come with 96L Micron 3D NAND (QLC). The new 4TB X6 Portable SSD is priced at $490. At this price, it compares quite favorably with other QLC-based external SSDs such as the Sabrent XTRM-Q (although the latter comes with a Thunderbolt interface). The other 4TB external SSDs on the market come from Western Digital, with prices ranging from $680 to $750. Given their 3D TLC flash and the use of an NVMe drive behind a chip bridge, they can offer much better performance, strength and flexibility (such as the ability to recover internal SSD in the event of a chip bridge failure) for professional use cases. However, for the average consumer, the price per GB and the price/performance ratio are both in Crucial’s favor with the new X6 portable SSD based on the Phison U17 controller.

NZXT clung to the bases when it comes to the C650, providing only four mounting screws, some modular cables, and an AC power cable along with the PSU. However, modular cables get into a simple purple bag, so that they can be contained. Otherwise, there are no cable straps, cable ties or other accessories of any kind.
The PSU NZXT C650 is a fully modular design, meaning there are no cables connected to the chassis. All cables are made with all black cables and black connectors. SATA and Molex cables are “flat” cables, with exposed cables joining together, while ATX PCI Express, CPU and 24-pin cables have nylon coils that cover the cables.The NZXT C650 relies on a 120mm fan for your cooling needs, which is the largest fan that could fit inside the frame. It uses a simple 120 mm black fan produced by Hong Hua, a well-known but not very popular manufacturer. In fact, these fans are not even used by many OEMs, instantly alluding to the OEM behind the creation of the C650. The HA1225H12F-Z has a dynamic fluid bearing motor (FDB) and can be annoyingly strong at its top speed of 2200 rpm, although we expect it will almost never reach such speeds under normal operating conditions.
The secondary lateral conversion phase is also simplistic, with only a pair of MOSFETs generating a single 12V line. All other voltage lines are generated from DC to DC converters mounted on a secondary secondary board. All secondary capacitors, electrolytic and polymer, are supplied by Nippon Chemi-Con and Rubycon, making the C650 an entirely Japanese material.
The filtering phase starts on a small pcb on the back of the AC cable container and continues on the main PCB. It is a reference design consisting of four Y capacitors, two X capacitors, two filter inductors and a MOV surge suppressor. There are two bridge straighteners that share a single heatsink, which is rare for a unit with such modest power. The apfc main capacitor is a 400V /470oF electrolyte capacitor produced by Hitachi and is supported by a sizable coil.NZXT designed the C650 to land at the weak end of price and performance , offering excellent performance while remaining competitively priced, with an eye to enticing enthusiasts who want to buy an advanced PSU without breaking the bank. It’s a great place for buyers, but it can be difficult for manufacturers to compete, especially with the more advanced PSU prices falling with each passing day.
With its all-black chassis and cables, the NZXT C650 is an aesthetically neutral product, designed to subtly fit any modern PC system. The performance of the NZXT C650 is overall very good, with the designer clearly focusing on the power quality of the 12V line given the excellent figures we measured from the 12V guide. The 3.3V and 5V rail readings weren’t that good, although this isn’t unique to NZXT, as most manufacturers tend to overlook secondary voltage lines just a bit in favor of the 12V main line. As a result, the NZXT C650 is a great PSU in general, with NZXT making the right decision to focus on quality and longevity. The price of $110 on the PSU is a bit bold for an 80Plus Gold unit and its current availability is quite limited – presumably due to shipping backups released by COVID – is challenging the product’s market potential. However, we believe that the C650’s very high quality and estimated longevity will attract a significant proportion of advanced and enthusiastic users, who like to buy products that will last them for many years.

If you utilize lenses that are similar or faster, full frame can unquestionably provide higher image quality, which is something that must be disregarded. A distinct size/weight trade-off is provided by APS-C, allowing for smaller, possibly more manageable body/lens combinations without necessarily sacrificing too much in terms of image quality.
